Social Media Gathering at "Kinley Thai Bistro" - Medan

Hello dearest readers and friends!
This time I need to share with you a simple event that held by Kinley Thai Bistro.
Actually me and some others friends from social media (Instagram I mean) been invited to the introduction of Thailand Street Food Cuisine.

Some of our Social Media friends were from Aplaus_magazine , Digi_magazine , Own_id , makanhalalmedan , Kulinermedan , Surga_kuliner and so on.
We've been introduced by the owner himself, Mr.Bobby and his wife about the dishes they served that day and of course meet the exclusive Chefs themselves.

Renjiro Sushi - Medan

Sushi...sushi... who doesn't love japan cuisine?
Maybe some of you doesn't love to crave for japan cuisine because of the fishy smell, right?
Despite of that, as for me japan cuisine will be my always favorite choice.

Starting from when I did promises with my mom to take her for having dinner at sushi place, then she quiet interest about Renjiro Sushi.
Then I do pay my promises and took her for having dinner there.

Japan restaurants were also separated widely and fast in Medan City, such as you know the famous one Sushitei, the other one Itcho Sushi, Sushi boat and so on.
Renjiro Sushi served best sushi and other japan foods also, the place also nice and neat. The waiters and waitress were so friendly.

Usually if you enter a Japan Restaurant they will greet you so friendly with Japanese language, I don't know how to spell it, hahaha.. pity me

Pilastro Anniversary with Ronald Prasanto and Muhammad Aga - Medan

This is a very late post due my busy and full time jobs.
I've been there at Pilastro 1st Anniversary last 27 August 2014, and what a big chance that Mr.Ronald Prasanto (the expertise of Indonesia Molecular Gastronomy) and Muhammad Aga (who win second place of IBC 2014).

They were so friendly and welcoming us to the Anniversary event. Some of food blogger also invited such as makanmana , lensa kuliner and some more to attended the event.

We've been invited before the D-day, so we have chance to know these 2 amazing and talented people more better and they also gave us some introductions about coffee, latte, manual brew and also the molecular gastronomy too.

India Cuisine "Gitz 88" - Medan

It's truly to be said that Medan was the best known Culinary Town in Indonesia.

And now let me present you about India Cuisine at Gitz'88.

Located at the place that mostly India citizen lived here, we called it "Kampung Keling". It's really easy to find the place, just ask the taxi driver or somebody out there, they'll show you the place.

The area was near the Sun Plaza, mostly know Shopping Mall at Medan.

You can find many India people here and shops that sells India things. 

Talking about India, let's turn to the foods. I came here several weeks ago with friend to have a try on Indian foods at Gitz'88.

The restaurant was cozy, clean and of course Indian songs everywhere :)

Nonya Baba Cuisine at Spoon Dining "Grand Aston Hotel" - Medan

I've just got message from one of the PR from Grand Aston Hotel Medan that invited me for food tasting of the newly launching "Hybrid" cuisine that we can said it Peranakan cuisine with the Theme "Nonya Baba Dining Buffet".

I was really happy and this also the second time I've been invited for the Culinary Launching at Grand Aston Hotel, what a honor!

They served the cuisine that mixed the Melayu cuisine and Tionghua Cuisine. Usually in Malaysia we called it Nonya Cuisine or mostly known "Masakkan Peranakan".
What a great idea that they served the Buffet Dining with this kind of theme so that the oldies also can enjoy the foods without curious of what kind of foods the Hotel served.

Thailand Cuisine at White Elephant - Medan (CLOSED)

It's been a long time that I haven't post my food-hunting-diary, so sorry guys....
It's too busy nowadays, the jobs and some other things that made me hardly to sit in front of my lappie, and now I have free time for sharing the other food hunting diary that still based in Medan-North Sumatera.

Now let me share to you another Thailand Restaurant at Medan called "White Elephant".
Some of my friends said that the food was good but so pricey. 
Then I let myself with other friend tried the dishes here,and yes it was pricey but the food taste so nice and I think it worth the price.

Street Food "Bebek Goreng H.Slamet" - Medan

I knew this place when makanmana.net posted on their blog but I got no time to go there.
So I intend to go this place, luckily when I went around the streets to meet some customers I think of this place.
Me and my co worker enjoyed our late-lunch here.

Chatterbox - Medan (CLOSED)

I came here for several times and always loved to ordered the same menu.
Chatterbox, a restaurant with very simple design and neat table arrangement, the place quiet eye catchy because of using the mirror for the wall design.

Quiet long time ago I met my college friend with her boyfie at Cambridge City Square and then we sat together for coffee break time and shared so many things because we missed each other already!
After coffee break, we directly searched for dinner, then Chatterbox were our choice.

Welcoming the Guest Barista "Aji Darius" to Medan

My passion for this culinary world was a biggest achivement of mine. Thanks god for guiding me to the right passion that I choosed.
Talking about my passion, what a great opportunity that I got around 3 weeks ago.
I received an invitation to Pilastro asked me for joining the event that they arranged. What a big surprised too that the runner up of IBC-13 "Aji Darius" attended that event. Without any doubt I replied A.S.A.P - "YES"!

The first day of meeting (29 July 2014) was the introduction to Espresso from Aji Darius himself. From this introduction I gained new knowledge about coffee, how to keep our beans to be still fresh, how to made a good espresso/latte and so on.
Frankly speaking, I was very excited and listened to what Aji told us in serious way.
Even I can't play with the espresso machine but at least I know the theory how to operate it.

Taipei 101 "Taiwanese Snacks" - Medan

I think that Taiwanesse desserts, snacks were very well known due this time. 
Last time I just shared about my food hunting at Black Ball that located at Sun Plaza, but they just served the desserts and beverages.

Me and my mom spent quality sat-nite last 3 weeks at Taipei 101, located at Cambridge City Square. They served the almost same desserts and beverages but Taipei 101 served snacks that well known as 'crispy chicken".

The place has very limited space because located right in front of the children play-fair. 
It's not too wide then very crowded of the people walked by.

Liberica Coffee Shop - Medan

I'm sure that most of you were the Coffee lovers or addicts, it's just happened to me too. I can't stand out a day without a cup of coffee whether it was from the beans directly or just pouring hot water into a cup of instant coffee.

It's like a "must" to having a cup of coffee everyday!
Saying about Coffee, my lovely hometown was really developing! a new Mall just opened not so long ago and there's so many coffee shops there.
The name was Focal-Point where you can find so many delight coffee shops here, but it's still new, still on progress about 85%.

I came here not so long time ago with some fellas and we stopped by the Liberica Coffee Shop. The design was exactly "coffee shop theme", so simply contemporary and warm.
Some issues said that Liberica Coffee Shop was the branches from Jakarta.

Street Food "Pondok Surya" Binjai - Medan

Another food hunting trip with Lensa Kuliner team last week was outside Medan City.
We planned it already then we choosed Binjai City for our destination. But for this food hunting, my new friend that was friend of Lensa Kuliner team, Micheal Oktando joined us.
He knew about photography well, so I learned a lot from him too :)

Binjai city itself was famous of their cleanliness of the City, how about the foods?
Hell yeah, because of the famous Tahu Balik, we're willing to go there. Not just Tahu Balik, their "Tau Kua Hechi" and "Ifumie Binjai" was famous too.

It takes time about 45 minutes from Medan to Binjai, then we arrived around lunch time already.
The way to Pondok Surya was a bit complex to be enter with car, so you must parked your car first around Jl. A.H.Yani then you walk across the A.H.Yani street until the end point, you'll find out a gangway to be entered at left side.

Eve Chocolaterie - Medan

Being a food blogger is not easy, but it was fun.
I claimed myself an amateur food blogger and very interest with food photography. I knew some guys from www.lensakuliner.com and they teached me how to take a good photos.
I pushed myself to invest (like some friends told me) a camera, and that's why I bought the Mirrorless Camera of Fujifilm brand , xa1.

Nah.. me and friends from lensakuliner hanged out to a place that sells cakes, chocolates, cookies and pastries, named Eve Chocolaterie.
We found out the place was very nice, comfortable, and edgy with a simple outdoor place too.
The using of woody furnitures made the rooms quite old school style, and a modern vintage touch.

Food Travel at "Kayu Manis" - Pekanbaru (Riau)

Welcome to Kayu Manis, the hanging welcoming board firstly seen when you step to the entering way to the Resto (backside of the resto). 
The resto has two ways to be entered, the backside was easily reach from the parking lot.
Located at Pekanbaru - Riau City. I was invited by my friend who lived here to have a break at the evening after done survey customer's factory (outside hometown duties you know #sigh....).

I loved the design so much, they have a good theme of "Garden Resto and Gallery". It's so natural, the scenery were very green and the air were fresh.

All Day Club - Medan (CLOSED)

On the first time I heard the name of "All Day Club", I think of a group of some Golf players group. Then when the name of All Day Club online on instagram, I just know that it was a cafe or lounge, Lols.

The idea made by my nephew that he wanted to gather sometime for having fun with each other and it was saturday night.

All Day Club has a very wide parking lot and they have Bakery Shop too, named All Day Bread. The restaurant designed in very simple touche by using very simple ceramics and wood furnitures as the table sets.
The perfect point was the outdoor, but we do afraid of the hot weather, that's why we just choosed to sit indoor.

Unique Concept "Riceville" - Medan

New resto opened up at my beloved Medan City, named Riceville. Simple name but they had their unique concept of the interior design.
The interior was unique because it's very urban style of design, a little bit of country but seems more urban.

They served mostly asian cuisine, just a little bit western foods. Sayings about asian cuisine, I thought of oriental foods. My thoughts was wrong because they exist more on Thai-foods.
Don't worry guys, the foods price here was friendly with your 'pocket', around IDR 10k - 45k only.

Some Facts About Tea & French Tea Time Winner Announcement

My dear readers, I want to share some facts about tea that I've been learning from an expert Miss Sri from "T&C" Medan and also some sources from internet.
I found out that learning the way of drinking tea was a healthy lifestyle, that's why I've been into it.
Some friends said that I was a "Caffein Addict", because I loved the Tea and Coffee very much.

Not only just learning, but it was a very great pleasure to me that I can did a little collaboration with T&C to tell more about tea to Medan people (especially).
Because as my research, not so many people (based in Medan) know about tea knowledge or some else about tea, because most of people claimed that tea was just a cup of tea, and nothing to do for it.

Remember, real tea was expensive, it was not same as a cup of usual tea-bag by pouring hot water then finished.
Every country had it's own culture of drinking tea, such like Chinesse culture, Japannese, English, French and so on.

BBQ-ing at "Angry Korean Bbq" - Medan

We can see that most of korean fashions, foods, even K-pop songs were so 'booming' here in Medan. That makes some of my friends crazy of learning Korea languange and even some of them saving money just for visit Korea.
But some of them put their dream too high of meeting some K-pop Stars, lols.

How bout me?
I'm so sorry my dear friends, I'm not that kind of "Korea artist enthusiast", hahaha....
If we're talking about their culinary, nah! Why not?

I bet most of you (based in Medan) already know Angry Korean BBQ, that served the specialty Korean BBQ. The place was simply designed and the lgreat lightning. I loved that, seems more neat and clean.
The theme here in Angry Korean BBQ is "be your own chef". Yes! you'll cook by yourself, isn't it fun?

At that timed (quiet long time already, psstt...) we were a group of four, so we ordered pretty much.
One packed already consist of two people, but we're afraid of the small portion that not satisfied our stomach so we ordered three packed. 
One packed was around Idr 138k - Idr 168k and you'll get the rice and the other side complement for the BBQ dine-in.

"Pilastro" the Uncommon Cafe - Medan

Let me share (outpouring) what's goin on nowadays social media first before I share with foods and beverages at Pilastro.

I do accept some critics from my beloved followers, because I do mistake and everybody does!

That's why we have to learn how to diminish our mistakes.

I realize that I am still an amature food blogger, but I was so grateful to what I'm doin because I know I'm keeping doin on the right track. I'm still learning and keep on experience this stuff till now.

I know sometime on Social Media, when you gained more followers means that you'll be more hated.
But don't be afraid, make that haters become your friends, because they are truthly our "un-expected" tutors in the minus point that we had or even the mistakes that we made.

Now I'll define that I just loved to share with foods and drinks that based on my taste and write it down with my own way. Once more, I am not a Food Expert, I am just a Food Hunters.

Thanks for some critics, it encouraged me to do more and built me up to the next level that I need to reach. :)

New Taiwanesse Dessert "Blackball" - Medan

It's a very good news that Medan was became a city of all the Culinary people that would like to open business here.
From simple restaurant until the fine dine restaurant.

Such like, nowadays, there's many Taiwan's specialty dessert were opened in our lovely Culinary town, Medan.

Why? because some of business-man search the opportunity of the good business here and also the people kind of welcoming new things that goes on here in Medan.

Let's see the "Blackball" now available at Medan, located at Sun Plaza at 3rd floor near the X.O. Suki.
Very easy to be found, and kind of crowded.
People loved to have desserts, and there's a quotes of "Life is short, eat dessert first", agree?

Dr. Owl Coffee Shop - Medan

Allo, bonjour!
It's been a long time that I've not entering the blog-world, somekind of busy you know. yeah... kind of that.. hahaha...

So, now I'd like to share about a cafe/coffee shop with "Owl" that being their specialty icon. Dr. Owl Coffee located at Jl. Pemuda Baru II No.11, Medan.
The cafe concept was quiet good, but as for me, the place too small, but never mind.. let's see the inside.. :)

A Worthy Cafe of Zazazizi Cafe - Medan

Everyone will always claimed that eating at "Cafe" was quiet expensive. But that will not happen at Zazazizi Cafe.
Why? because you'll not spend out a quiet big amount of your money to just have a meal here.

Zazazizi Cafe was located at Jl. Muara Takus just behind the Sun Plaza Parking lot. You'll easily find this place if you enter from Muara Takus itself.
Moreover, Zazazizi served western food and oriental food, like what I'll share to you on this post.

FYI, the owner also running an inn just located upstairs the Cafe. As I see and I think, the inn was not pricey just the same as the foods because it was only two buildings with a Ruko type and low maintainance cost.
I was quiet impressed because many foreigner take night at their Inn, wow! 
Maybe suitable for some backpakers.

Day 4 - 17 Apr 2014 (Last Day)

Last day last part of the travel and foodhunting diary of mine while at Thailand.

I snapped a photo of our breakfast for just to be a memorable moment on the foods, Haha..
Really, I loved the breakfast at Bangkok City Hotel, even taste just so so, but at least the ingredients they used was fresh, especially the salads, yummy!

After we checked out, then we put our baggages at the baggage locket for just around 2 - 3 hours because we rushly headed to the MBK mall and Siam Paragon for shopping and window shopping, Lols.

We didn't really enjoyed the MBK mall so we directly headed to Siam Paragon. For the exterior of MBK mall was nice right? but not as nice as the inside, LOLS.
We just bought some snacks here at MBK for bringing some gifts for our friends, families when we'll back to Medan.

Continuing day 3 at huahin…

After we finished from the first floating market, we headed to Sam Phan Nam Floating market. Nah this one was the real floating market guys, even we didn’t see any seller using the canoe on the water for selling, but I bet you this one was more bigger and better than the 1^st one.

It just took around 15 minutes from huahin floating market to Sam Phan Nam floating market.

Here we can see many small booths from traditional foods, snacks, finger foods, accessories, clothes, and so on.

Day 3 - 17 Mar 2014

There it is, my day 3 traveling to Huahin, ahh, on this part I'll give more photos about the 1st and 2nd place that I went.
And it was a long day trip here from Bangkok to huahin. It took 3 hours trip, but the big van we booked was so comfy, and a little big to us that just consists of 4 person.

The van can fit until 9 person, you'll feel really comfy here along your trip.
Before felt asleep, I enjoy the view first, woohoo!

Snapped photo along the highway to Huahin, a bit look alike my hometown but with different language, lols. You know, the highway at Thailand was awesome, you can see the sea up there.

Continuing my Day 2 trip....

After all of us taked bath, we rushly and directly went to Siam Paragon for having dinner. Along finding out place to be sat and ate, I snapped the beautiful and unique design concept of the Siam Paragon Mall.
Two photos that I snapped was restaurant and cafe, you can see clearly that the 1st one was the cafe with interesting design of tree of arts and in soft pink color. Then the second photo was a Japan Restaurant, unique isn't it?

Day 2 - 15 Mar 2014

Actually on this "Day", we planned for Huahin trip, sadly the bus all rented out, so we changed the plan directly.
First thing first, we booked ticket for Madame Tussaud self-tour (600 baht) and for Calypso Show (800 baht). As for me, buying ticket for the Madame Tussaud tour was not a problem, because I can see the arts of the statue they made, but for Calypso???

Gosh they were Lady-Boy guys, and for just seeing the Lady-boy I must paid 800baht? If we count in IDR it was around IDR 288k. Mariani then told me, "just watch it, it is your 1st time here". Then I just go with the flow.... #moneygone

Okay dear readers, for this part I'll tell you about the Jatujak Market first.
After the booking session finished, we headed to Jatujak Market. It was a traitional market that consists of about 1000 booths there, Amazing!

We took ride by ART, same like Monorail at Kuala Lumpur. Jatujak Market was located at Mo Chit, it was the last place at the railway map. 1 person cost 32 baht per one way.

Continue from day 1 ....

Nah.. than we arrived at Baiyoke Sky Hotel for having a buffet dining. It's weekend (Saturday night) and of course it cost us an expensive dinner that day, 800 baht/person (Idr 288.000). 
But, because it was our first time here, why not?????

The buffet located at 78th floor, then you'll see so many people Q-ing there for having buffet dinning too, and some of them just having a short tour of the Baiyoke Sky Hotel itself.
We choose the Buffet with International Dining, means all kind of foods indeed. Yay!

I'll give you the night view from the 78th floor baby. What a nice view and I called it "A city of light", not like my lovely hometown, hmmmmm "A city of dark (blackout)". Always!

Thailand Travel and Foodhunting Diary Part 1

We were planning the Thailand Trip from November last year and consist group of four people. The idea was suddenly made by my dearest friend or I may say the best brother for me, Benny.
He suddenly said "Wanna try travel Thailand?" and that's why we were planning travelling there.
We are Mariani, Benny, Juliani and Me. Mariani the one that ever went there around 2 to 3 times, so we choose her to became our guide of course. :D

Day 1 - 14 March 2014
As what we discussed, we went to Kualanamu Airport by using Train because none of us were ever going by train, ahh... so shame, LOL.
I was the one that been choose to bought the Train ticket, and FYI guys, if you're going to airport by train that consist of 4 person, you'll get progressive promo of Idr 62.5k per person only. Quite cheap you know, because I ever heard that normal price was Idr 80k/person, is that true?

Actually I loved the small hall of the information center, ticket counter, the cafe of Starbucks, Lobby that was all together in one Hall. Even small but so neat and clean, far from what I imagine (the negative one). Really loved the place, or because I never go to another city railway station so that I called this one was nice?

Coffee Time at Warung Kopi Srikandi - Medan

Talking about Warung Kopi a.k.a Kopitiam was really widely spread at almost entire of Medan City. The real Kopitiam was actually located down street or usually opened at most of traditional market here.
But nowadays, you can see most of Kopitiam/Warung Kopi was opened at Mall or even stand alone by the design looks alike Cafe.

Teddy Bearly Land with Cute Little Sister - Medan

I bet most of Medan people know the place called "Teady Bearly Cafe". It was located at Sun Plaza - Medan at 3rd floor, exactly beside the Teddy House.

Last month I came here with my little cuttie sister "Sofiana" and my dearest boy. We suddenly want to went out and I bring my little sister along with me. Actually she was my younger uncle''s daughter.
She was about 7 or 8 years old, and you know what?? She's a real "KEPO" Lols. Funny if you trying to debate with her, and she will never give up to keep debating with you too. Hahaha...

"Makan Tjantik" at D'Heritage, Grand Aston - Medan

Everybody must loves to eat, moreover if we talk about "all you can eat" theme. This kind of "all you can eat" usually we called "buffet".
I was a food hunters and I loved to craved foods and I even don't care about being fat, that's why sometimes take time for buffet was also fun. XD

Start from April 2014, you can enjoy the Western and Asian cuisine that will be serve at D'Heritage at Balai Kota, Grand Aston - Medan.
The white classic building was built on 1906, and this was a Dutch colonial relic at Medan. Fyi, they renovated the building already, but still the exterior was same as the old one :)

"Makan Tjantik Lunch Buffet" was a theme that been arranged by Food and Beverages team from the Grand Aston Hotel. 

(Guys, just don't mind the DATE of the photos, because too pity I forgot to set it and I don't understand anything from photoshop, so just make it something that not happening, LOLS)

Favorite Place "Pilastro" - Medan

This place was my first favorite one that made me came back for several times. The things that make me loves to come back again was the Spaghetti Aglio Olio. Whether it was just the plain one, but I in love with it and become addicted to the Aglio Olio. 

Pilastro was located at Jl.Bukit Barisan near the Bank BCA and ACA insurance office. Easy to be found because near the train station too.
This cafe served all foods without using any MSG, means that the foods they served was healthy. Then they specialty was about Coffee.
They also developed some technique of Molecular Gastronomy into the coffee. Clever, isn't it?

Unexpected Gathering at "Black Canyon Coffee" - Medan

It was just an unexpected gathering with some fellas from Jakarta and Beijing. Actually it was our CNY gathering, Lols! It was already past too long, maybe around 1,5 months already. XP

Gathering of (start from left to right) Anwar Dani , Ferry , Felicia , Me, Armando , Fonny's Boyfie , Fonny , Fonny's sister, Fonny's brother, Husin and Husin's Girlfie. :) It's been a long time not ago see each others, especially for Felicia, Armando and Husin. But now, I still missed them much :)

We were gathered at Black Canyon Coffee located at Cambridge City Square 1st floor, in front of the lift. Black Canyon at Medan was very crowded visited by customers, I dunno what's the specialty here, but the place was quiet good enough for us to sit for quiet a long time. Usually we said "tempat nongkrong". 

Not only the adults, but teenagers, kids also loved to sit here for having meal or even just for chit chat. The place was design in non smoking area and smoking area, and I sat between them. LOLS

Famous Indonesia Seafood "Lembur Kuring" - Medan

I'm sure that nobody dunno about this Famous Restaurant & Seafood "Lembur Kuring" that served the traditional Indonesia Cuisine and the seafood of course.
I got a personal message from the admin of the Lembur Kuring that contain gift of voucher to have meal here. What a surprised!
Big thanks to Lembur Kuring for gave me a chance to review your's extra delicious foods.

"Tongs" Soyamilk & Beancurd - Medan

It's been a while that I was away from my blog. Because I took a long relaxing day and fully-rested for restored stamina to move on my activities.
Remember! Stay healthy and eat well, drink more water too.

Knowing nowadays that Medan was very full of smoke that caused by forest fires at Riau. And WOW Medan also get the smoke effect, so for Medan people don't forget to always put on a mask to help you avoid the smoke around the city. It was not good for our health, esp our breathing system and our lungs.

Talking about healthy food, I've been to "Tongs" Soyamilk & Beancurd for dinner two weeks ago. Tongs located at Jalan Kejaksaan No.7D - Medan. You'll find the place easily, because when you enter Jalan Kejaksaan you will see the banner directly.

Lunchie Package at "Rasa Seafood" - Medan

Everybody must like seafood, and it also applies to me. Here I am reviewing another seafood restaurant, located in Cemara Asri, on jalan Berjaya called Rasa Seafood Restaurant. This place is easy to find, you will easily see their Big Banner in front of their shop.

The name of the restaurant is “Rasa Seafood”, and you can easily order the dishes that you want. They printed the menu very clear and complete, but sometime some of the menu also can be out of stocked or sold out. 

I came here for having lunch before I went back to my office that far from City. I know it was very tired job to do and exhausted sometimes, but I loved my job. #triedtoenjoymyroutine

Rasa Seafood served the lunch package that consists of 4 people and 6 people. That time, we’re just consists of 4 people so we choose the package of four. But if you don't want to order the lunch package, you can also order per dishes.

There's two type of lunch package, the A pack or B pack. And we choose the A pack.

The "A" lunch package consists of four main courses, four plates of rice, four hot tea and four desserts. It cost us Idr 99k per package. But now rising prices already, it cost Idr 109k per package, still cheap for four people.

Hello photographer and food maniacs. Medan welcoming you a cafe that combine the name of camera icon/specs with foods.
Actually I loved to take a snap for foods, but I didn't really understand what hard case, software or anything else that connected to Camera.
All I know is just DSLR produce an awesome quality of photos, LOLS.

Even I dunno or maybe not too clever to use a DSLR, but I have already planned a target to buy a "pocket DSLR camera" by Pentax. The most I want is the "Pentax Q.10", you can search the full spec similar here.

F2.8 was a name of a camera lens type. So I can guessed that the owner must loved the photograph so much and he/she turned the hobby by combined the passion into Culinary. #guessing

Satay Padang "Ampera" - Medan

Everybody esp Medan people loved to craved food for Supper. That's why I gained weight for this full weeks even I was very busy but it can't burn my fat. *sobs :(

Ahh.. forget it, eating was the most greatest one for me. I can't stand up for diet because of many delicious and tempting food around me. #drool

Let say for street food, as I like to say "sidewalk culinary". Satay Padang was the most favorite at all. People usually loved to craved satay padang because of the savor taste, the spicy taste and of course the meats.
we can choose chicken meat, beef, mutton or even the offal that already marinated and had been arrange one by one to put in it sticks.

I went to Sate Padang Ampera, located at Krakatau St, near Jemadi St. The Ampera food house not only served the Satay but also some foods like "cha-cha" , for example fried noodle, fried rice, etc.
Looks like Sate Ampera was famous enough at Medan, or it was well-known already?

Happy Valentine's day all, and sorry for the late post because of some busy and hectic days of my jobs this weeks.
Let me share to you all where and what to eat on my simple v-dinner night. Actually I was a kind of girl that don't like romance at all, but it worth to try elegant food with simple celebration on Valentine's night that day.
I went to Tea & Cake Cafe to spend a short V-dinner with my secret one, LOLS.

A package of Valentine Dinner at Tea & Cake Cafe cost us Idr 450k/couple. And I told my friend Melissa, who worked there to reserved one set dinner for me. 
And here it is.... a glass of Rose Champagne and a glass of Berry Crush Ice Tea.

What was a V-Dinner mean without a Glass of Champagne? The Rose Champagne was good already but as for me a little bit acid, or maybe the taste of champagne like that? But never mind, at least I drank it all.
