Unexpected Gathering at "Black Canyon Coffee" - Medan

It was just an unexpected gathering with some fellas from Jakarta and Beijing. Actually it was our CNY gathering, Lols! It was already past too long, maybe around 1,5 months already. XP

Gathering of (start from left to right) Anwar Dani , Ferry , Felicia , Me, Armando , Fonny's Boyfie , Fonny , Fonny's sister, Fonny's brother, Husin and Husin's Girlfie. :) It's been a long time not ago see each others, especially for Felicia, Armando and Husin. But now, I still missed them much :)

We were gathered at Black Canyon Coffee located at Cambridge City Square 1st floor, in front of the lift. Black Canyon at Medan was very crowded visited by customers, I dunno what's the specialty here, but the place was quiet good enough for us to sit for quiet a long time. Usually we said "tempat nongkrong". 

Not only the adults, but teenagers, kids also loved to sit here for having meal or even just for chit chat. The place was design in non smoking area and smoking area, and I sat between them. LOLS

In the middle of our chit chat time, we ordered some foods, snacks and drinks (the important one) of course.

Here was what we ordered.

First came was the Plain Pancake with Maple cost IDR 25k. The pancake as for me was perfect, even it was too thick but the taste of the pancake was very good with maple. But if you eat alone, you'll feel too much (eneg).

Then the severe foods, the one that I ordered was thai food. So sorry I forgot the name of the foods. It cost us IDR 45k per portion. It was a combination of smoked chili salmon with Mee-hoon and covered up with the sweet and sour broth. Ah they sowed some peanuts for the compliments.

I loved this thai food, the taste was good and the smoked salmon chili was very delish in a quiet good smoked level. A lite foods for whose in a program of diet. Really pity that I forgot the name of the foods, here's I show to you the clear detail photos of the food.

And one of my friends ordered the Caesar Salads IDR 38k (If I was not wrong about the price). The Salads was just so so, not too interesting, but the platting and the combination of the vegetables was very colorful. The plus point was the using of the fresh vegetables. Really still fresh :)

And the light grilled chicken chops was taste good with a sprinkling of cheese powder. Wanna try?

The one and only lovers of us was the POTATO, and Yes! we've ordered 2 portion of Black Canyon Potato lovers sets that cost IDR 38k/portion.

They served the potatoes into different forms; the french fries, potato wedges, potato chips and fried mashed potato with sweet chili sauce. This snacks is a must try my dear readers.

Then about the beverages, I just snaps the unique and delish one for you my readers. I don't mean that I don't want to snap it all, but it too much XD

So I choose the most interesting one.

(Vienna)

Maybe most of you will ask about this Vienna. Armando ordered this one. Vienna was kind of cappucino but the espresso taste strong than the milk, simple words to say "bitter that usual cappucinno". 

But the specialty in Vienna was the cinnamon. Put the cinnamon in the coffee and stir it like u're using the spoon, and you'll find the aroma of cinnamon in Vienna. 

Gathering was just a very simple quality time with our best friends, by gather together we can know more about them and not losing communication. More interaction with each other then we also can know what problems they are facing for. That's what friends are for, right?
