Food Travel at "Kayu Manis" - Pekanbaru (Riau)

Welcome to Kayu Manis, the hanging welcoming board firstly seen when you step to the entering way to the Resto (backside of the resto). 
The resto has two ways to be entered, the backside was easily reach from the parking lot.
Located at Pekanbaru - Riau City. I was invited by my friend who lived here to have a break at the evening after done survey customer's factory (outside hometown duties you know #sigh....).

I loved the design so much, they have a good theme of "Garden Resto and Gallery". It's so natural, the scenery were very green and the air were fresh.

First time came here and already fall in loved with this place, because I loved the natural view and the touche of the design was very identical. 
The resto served the Indonesian foods and Western foods also. Unfortunately, it was fasting day for moslem when I was there.
The waitress said that not all foods were available, so we ordered the one that available.

The price range here is average, around Idr 25k - Idr 85k.

My favorite was the Butter Sweet Sauce with nuts that covered the Lamb Satays (Sate Kambing Kecap). The Lamb meats itself still rough, but it was tasty, and the flavor was there.

My friend ordered the Fried Noddle then I tasted some, it was quiet good but because I usually ate the one that used lard #nonhalal this one taste a little tasteless and it's greasy.

Next to closing dish, Banana Rolls for our dessert. There's 3 layers on the rolls, banana, pandan dough and the fritters.

It was good, not too sweet with some maple and chocolate syrup for the toppings.

The weather a little bit hot that time even the air were fresh, that's why we ordered mocktails for refresh our thirsty and the hot weather. I'm not too interested with the drinks flavor because of the Soda too strong, but the colors were playful :)

Guys, Kayu Manis can be your Culinary list when you want to travel here at Pekanbaru. The place was so comfy and nice.
Just please don't come here around 12 pm to 4 pm, you'll feel very hot! Or you can just choose the indoor with Air-Con one :)
