Thailand Travel and Foodhunting Diary Part IV

Continuing my Day 2 trip....

After all of us taked bath, we rushly and directly went to Siam Paragon for having dinner. Along finding out place to be sat and ate, I snapped the beautiful and unique design concept of the Siam Paragon Mall.

Two photos that I snapped was restaurant and cafe, you can see clearly that the 1st one was the cafe with interesting design of tree of arts and in soft pink color. Then the second photo was a Japan Restaurant, unique isn't it?
Hopefully "Billion Beef" was our choice that night. Thailand was also famous of the beef right? So we didn't miss this chance.
Billion beef had the unique design itself, a chair with cow patterns and so on. The place, I can't say that was pretty nice place, because it was so crowded, than you know, basement was the foodcourt guys.

Too many food place here, cafe, resto or snack bar. But I like the concept they made the basement became a food area, it was a big blip to me as a food hunters, YAY!

So pity, because not all the waiters or waitress can speak english, but thanks god a handsome waiter that served us that day spoke english very fluent. :)

Yes yes yes! I tried the beef, sirloin, and the grilled one with mee-hoon and soup. The taste was just perfect, because it was the signature dish of Billion Beef, and cost me 299bath per portion, Gosh!
As you may know, it worth guys, the quality of the sirloin they used was a real good one, the soup was light so you'll not feel too much of this one.

Next what did others friends order? A shrimp and Chicken fried rice (each cost 119baht). It hard for me to say that this one was not delish. Don't judge it looks, simple but very tasty. Recomended guys.
I loved the shrimps one than the chicken one.

We weren't miss this one, TOM YAM. Nyum! The differences here, the soup was using pure cow milk so the taste was more savor than the first day we craved at Baiyoke.
The acidity here was less than usual, but we still loved it. It was expensive too, 242baht my dear friends.

What was the signature drinks at Thai? and yeap, Thai iced tea dear. I tried almost all the cafe and restaurant at Medan that served the Thai Iced Tea, it was 100% different.
Thai iced tea here was more dense than what you tasted at Medan, the color was different too. The tea flavor still strong than the milk absence, this one was what I want. Sluurrppp!

Ka-ching, ka-ching, bills paid! And we rushing to the Madame Tussaud, without Mariani because she choose shopping than join the tour, lols.. she'd ever been there before, so she skipped.
We entered the Madame Tussaud from Siam Discovery Mall then with special lift that sent us directly to the Madame Tussaud entre.

(Some thai kingdom histories when we entered the hall)
(Beethoven)
(Statue of Madame Tussaud herself)

What a great art works, the statue almost same with the real man. Sorry guys I didn't post all the photos, too much, lols.

Finished here, we gathered back and not on chit chating again, directly rushed to Asiatique.
As from Mariani info, Asiatique was a new Mall at Thailand, located near the pier, so if you went here at daylight, you'll enjoy the sea view.

Tada... this was the tickets for entered the Calypso Show. First I was the one that judged, see the show was just nothing, nonsense, but after I entered and see the around, hmmm I was wrong about that.
The ladyboys performed the show very expert and fantastic, even still lip-sync but they made it like they really sang.
A real comedian that made all of us laughed because the funniest show they made. Thumbs up!

Ahh, damn, a ladyboy looked "beautifuller" than me (real girl), but they still can't have a girly voice, thanks god! Lols
While enjoyed the show, we ordered the Gin tonic, ahh good girls gone bad that night, tehehe.
Gin tonic here was a blend of soda water, with lime juice and a little alcohol, freshy fresh!

After the show, you can take pictures with the ladyboys that line up so tidy. You can choose which one you like to have a photo with, but don't forget to give them tips guys, if no, they will be upset and start to mumbling, blah blah blah.. Hahaha...

Day 2 of my travel and foodhunting was end here, but don't worry dear readers, I'll post the Day 3 travel at Huahin - Cha Am - Thailand A.S.A.P.

Good luck and have a good food everyone #culinarypassiongirl
