This place was my first favorite one that made me came back for several times. The things that make me loves to come back again was the Spaghetti Aglio Olio. Whether it was just the plain one, but I in love with it and become addicted to the Aglio Olio.
Pilastro was located at Jl.Bukit Barisan near the Bank BCA and ACA insurance office. Easy to be found because near the train station too.
This cafe served all foods without using any MSG, means that the foods they served was healthy. Then they specialty was about Coffee.
They also developed some technique of Molecular Gastronomy into the coffee. Clever, isn't it?
The place was also nice, quite and not noisy, plus clean. The outdoor or indoor was just perfectly simple designed.
They also served us table mats before we order the foods, and as you can see, the table mats itself was about the coffee knowledge. And I learned more from the table mats, it was a good idea by printed out about the coffee knowledge as the table mats, so the customers can read the info when waiting for the foods.
Next to the food, as I told you that I loved the Aglio Olio (idr 32k). We can choose between spaghetti and fettucine. The taste was just good, a little spicy taste and the deep fried garlic just made the dish real delicious. Light and very plain, as simple as its looks, but damn delicious. Worth to try guys :)

Then the next one was the Kwet-tiau Seafood (idr 29.5k) was just so so, nothing special in this one, but still appopriate to have this for our severe food.
(Kwer-tiau Seafood)
Dum di dam, let us jump to the desserts, not only the coffee that using molecular gastronomy technique, but in desserts too. That is Con Panna (Idr 40k) that taste mostly like tiramissu, actually it was not.
They just mixed the cookies and cream but taste really like tiramissu, completely delish and unique.
Feels like we eat the soil too #justfeeling #lookalike, because they made and designed it like a pot of plant.
(Con Panna)
Then the Panaccota with espresso (idr 30k) was my favorite. I loved the panaccota, because the sweetness level of the vanilla was good and when I poured the espresso the taste was just perfect.
I can taste the bitter from espresso in my mouth and the sweetness blend perfectly with the espresso.
(Panaccota)
And here's some drinks that I ever ordered and quite good and also interesting. Let us start from TINA Blend (idr 35k).
TINA was the short of This Is Not Avocado, but it really taste like avocado. They just blend the vegetables, milk, coffee, vanilla with a little touche of Molecular Gastronomy technique then, tadaaaaa, avocado taste appear.
Awesome! Isn't it?
(TINA Blend)
Caramel Kiss (idr 35k) was a latte with whipped cream above. I taste the coffee that blend with caramel and this one was sweet!
(Caramel Kiss)
Con Heilo (idr 28k) was an espresso with molecular gastronomy technique too. How to enjoy Con Heilo?
Drink half cup first, then hold on for 5 seconds after that shoot the rest of Con Heilo, and you will taste the orange citrus on it. This one was worth to try, cause some reviewed of this Con Heilo was makes the other coffee lovers become addicted to this one.
(Con Heilo)
Matcha Iced blend (Idr 35k) was the one that I can't drink it all, because the milk and matcha(green tea) was too thick and too much. But maybe for you that loves matcha very much, this one will not be a problem with you. But as for me, I don't like this. X(
(Matcha Iced Blend)
So, for you who really loved coffee, you should try here guys. But maybe some of you will not really loves their coffee because never drink coffee with acid taste or even with molecular gastronomy technique.
But if we don't try, how should we know?
As for me, I love to dare myself for something new, especially if we're talking about foods, XD
