A thousand light a thousand hope

Tonight Me and some of my friends just joined a ceremony of Buddhist called "a thousand light a thousand hope".
Actually this ceremony held once a year to remind the people for always remember about their religion, not only Buddhist people.
The ceremony was held at Merdeka Walk that attended by more than 5000 people, maybe..coz I don't come to count people, LOLS.
The ceremony started at 7.15 pm that first start by entering all monks (in Buddhist we usually called them "Bhante", that is Sanskrit word). The monks that came today were from three different sects, such as Theravada sects, Mahayana sects and last is Tantrayana sects. 
The monks started the opening ceremony by engage all the visitors by prayed "paritta", as for me all of the three sects of paritta was the same, just different languange. All of us making an "Anjali" to respect all the monks.

After the prayed "Paritta" finished, the next came out from the stage were dancing and singing by GABI-Group, a group of all the Buddhist children and also teenager. They invite the Buddhist Idol 2012 and 2013 for sang a song to all of the visitors. And they sang Great..!!!

Ops, I almost forget, they also have a group of adult choirs that sang 4 songs to the visitors also, and as for me, their dress code was really excellent, proud of them because still active on their ages that on the way to 60s. Yay..!!
But so sorry guys, I don't sat in front so that the photos must be a little blurred :(

After all the events already finished, and then the MC announced to all of the visitors that the starting of Lights will be start on.
Then all of the visitors started to turn on the fire to the candle, me and my friends too, hold on a candle and start to pray for the good things and hope for the bad things go away from the people and also for our beloved Indonesia, esp Medan.

See? How wonderful and beautiful the lights are. A thousand light a thousand hope, I will not explain more about that statement but y'all can see through the photos (understanding the meaning) that I snap by Blackberry, kind of blurrrrrr.. LOLS..

Buddha statement "Sabbe Satta Bhavanthu Sukkitatha" means hope that every human beings life happily.
So guys, what are your hope then? Are you one of the one that are hoping for the best too? Hope so.
Because every human beings hope for the good things and the best, not the bad one.
