Dine in at Ala Carte Darnia - Medan

A la Carte is a French language loan phrase meaning "According to the menu", and used in reference to a menu of item and ordered separately. 
And as what I see and what I feel, the using of Ala Carte name to one resto in Medan that called "Ala Carte Darnia" was fit to the statement above. :)
Ala Carte Darnia located at Hasanuddin St no.13, Medan. Maybe the place not too strategic, but a good marketing plan will make the Cafe run more faster, #justadvise

Here, at Ala Carte, they served Indonesia cuisine, Japan Cuisine and also some of pastas and western cuisine.
But as I reviewed, their specialty was the Indonesia Cuisine, such like "Ayam Rica-rica", "Ayam Balado" like what we're ordered.
They also wrote down their story about the Ala Carte Cafe on the first page of the menu, it's interesting and their story quite motivate.
The interior design was also comfy. They set a very large place so that the space was good enough for the waiters/waitresses for walked by.
The using of simple furniture complete the design, but I wish to have more 'frais' (cool) air in the resto. Or the air conditioner was off?

About the food that we ordered that day, as me myself I ordered the "Ayam Rica-rica (idr 38k)", the spices they used and the spicy taste was good, with a simple side dish of fried tofu and tempe.
The taste was very savory! I must say that first time step in and first time get the almost best satisfaction to this "Ayam Rica-rica". FYI, this dish was the new one on the menu.

Then next to my friends ordered the "Ayam Balado (idr 38K)". How about this one?
Ayam Balado taste good too, but just a little too spicy then Ayam Rica-rica. Maybe the using of the spices of Belacan? But it's good already, Really!
The differences of the dishes are, the chicken on Ayam Rica-rica already served in small cuts, but Ayam balado in a standar chicken legs size..#Lols

Hmm.. seems like Ayam Balado and Rica-rica was not too different at all. 
Then the other friends ordered the Teriyaki Chicken with Rice(idr 30k). For me, the Chicken Teriyaki was a little bit salty, but if we craved with rice then the taste was good.
But the rice was more than the Chicken, hope they will balance it. :)

And along with my habit, it was always about the snacks or finger foods. I choose Fried Chicken Ball #forgetthecompletename for completed our dine that day. It cost us idr 20k. The snacks was just so so, but it has the own taste of the chicken itself.

Dear readers, if you're focus of what dishes that I ordered all, then you'll realize it's all about "CHICKEN".
We also didn't thought that we ordered the same meal with different way of cooked. LOLS.
But at least we craved a fully delish dished at all.
"Ala carte était tout au sujet du repas et le goût que je pense" means ala carte was all about the meal and the taste as I think.

According to the story I read, I also hope the best for Ala Carte Darnia for further improvement. Even just a little step by step, you'll achieve more. Just keep goin and never looked back. :)
